Service Boundaries & Fiduciary Terms

Terms of Engagement.

Review the professional operating terms governing the use of the FinPilot software system and Synthara Labs cloud infrastructure.

Sovereign Fiduciary Responsibility

FinPilot is an advanced software co-pilot. All calculations, automated GSTR reconciliation matrices, and OCR document extractions operate strictly under the direction of licensed professionals. The ultimate statutory review, sign-off, and legal liability for tax filing remain solely with the human Chartered Accountant.

Administrative Sub-Account Governance

Firm Administrators are fully responsible for the administrative permissions, access keys, and actions of all article assistants, junior CAs, and clients invited to their tenant workspace. Credentials must be managed securely to prevent unauthorized ledger views.

Acceptable Statutory Use

The platform may be used solely for legitimate tax consulting, corporate accounting, corporate compliance, and advisory practices. Any attempts to upload corrupted files, malicious executable code, or engage in automated denial-of-service queries will result in immediate tenant suspension.

Data Preservation Guarantees

We respect your business operations. If a subscription tier expires or enters a suspended state, Synthara Labs strictly preserves all original documents, task histories, and database metadata. We never delete historical firm records on expiry, enabling seamless reactivation.

1. Platform Availability & Support Tiers

Synthara Labs aims to maintain a 99.9% uptime threshold for FinPilot cloud services, excluding scheduled database maintenance buffers which will always be completed during off-peak hours (IST). Real-time system availability and status reports are visible directly inside our administrator panels. In the extremely rare event of a service outage, our technical team provides email and chat support to restore connections immediately.

2. Fiduciary Verification Guarantees

FinPilot provides high-performance OCR layout models, bank statement parsing spreadsheets, and automated tax calendars as assistive utility frameworks. We do not provide licensed legal, accounting, or audit opinions. It is a strict condition of use that licensed professionals (CAs and legal partners) thoroughly cross-verify all compiled data structures and filings inside their workspace checkouts before portal transmission.

3. Subscription Cancellation & Billing Integrity

Every client firm may manage their subscription plan directly under workspace settings. If a subscription tier is cancelled, the workspace changes status to suspended at the end of the current billing cycle. We guarantee that zero data is deleted during expired or suspended states. You retain the absolute right to export files and reactivate your workspace billing at any future time.

4. Prohibited System Activities & Cyber-Security Safeguards

To guarantee absolute safety for all co-designing Chartered Accountant firms, users are strictly prohibited from engaging in any activities that compromise the integrity of FinPilot. This includes:

  • Deploying automated scrapers, harvesters, or reverse-engineering scripts against our multi-tenant routing controllers.
  • Uploading corrupt file directories, Trojan packages, or unverified executable binaries into our Cloudinary or MongoDB vaults.
  • Attempting unauthorized penetration scanning, cross-tenant data requests, or SQL/NoSQL injection queries.

Any verified breach of these guidelines will trigger immediate account suspension, access key invalidation, and formal escalation to the Indian Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT-In) and local cyber-crime divisions under the Information Technology Act, 2000.

5. Incident Notifications & CERT-In Directives

Synthara Labs maintains a zero-trust network operational model. In compliance with directives issued by the Indian Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT-In) of April 2022, we maintain robust ICT environment monitoring and audit trails. In the highly improbable event of a system breach or data security compromise, we are legally committed to notifying CERT-In within 6 hours of discovery, and affected users as soon as the security incident is identified, working with local security agencies to provide full transparency.
